Minimum Requirements:
- B-Degree or equivalent qualification (Majors in Law or Administration)
- Computer literacy
- Extensive relevant experience
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage the department legal and administrative services at customer care centre
- Manage training and development of human resources
- Manage the budget and assets of the department on CCC level
- Manage and control key performance areas of the sections support services and public participation properties and estates
- Exercise delegated powers, functions and duties in accordance with relevant instructions
- Advise and facilitate consultations relative to processes
- Responsible for the drafting of advance, complex, confidential reports and the execution of council resolutions
- Rendering advice to council to act intra vires and to comply with all legal obligations
- Responsible for the execution of statutory duties in terms of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Archives Act
- Responsible for overseeing the drafting of reports relevant to the functions being performed at CCC level
- Represent the council and its Head of Department, legal and administrative services as first level of management
- Constitute the focal point for all written and verbal communications ex head office and other departments to legal and administrative services department at CCC level
